You might look like you're coping on the outside -

- but inside things feel harder than they should.

You may find yourself overthinking, feeling low in confidence, or stuck in patterns — within yourself or in your relationships — that you don’t fully understand or feel able to manage.

You might feel exhausted from constantly thinking things through, or like you’re just getting through each day rather than really living it.

Therapy offers a space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface — to begin making sense of your thoughts, feelings, and patterns in a way that feels manageable and supportive.

Counselling & Therapy in Faversham, Kent

Hello, I’m Emma — a BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor based in Faversham, Kent.

I offer counselling and therapy in-person and online, providing a safe and reflective space where you can speak freely, feel truly heard, and gain insight to help you move forward or create meaningful change.

I have a particular focus on working with people who feel stuck or disconnected from themselves, even when life looks “fine” on the outside.

My priority is to keep your needs at the heart of our work together. In practice, this means taking the time to understand you and your world, and working collaboratively to shape sessions in a way that feels right for you — supporting you to recognise and take control of what may be keeping you stuck or holding you back.

I support people with anxiety, low self-esteem, and feeling stuck or unsure why things don’t feel quite right.

Unfortunately, it can only be accessed via steps so it is unsuitable for wheelchair users or those unable to climb stairs.

We will explore further the goals or direction for sessions which came out of our initial phone call and begin our work together.

Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, though fortnightly sessions can be arranged.

There’s no set number. Some people come for a short period, while others prefer longer‑term work. We’ll review things together as we go.
